Our Story
Meet Terrie Rose
Saltie Rose was founded by Terrie, who started playing pickleball during a deeply personal season of life in Minnesota. After losing her husband to cancer, she found healing, friendship, and joy in the pickleball community.
As her involvement grew, Terrie quickly realized there was a gap in the market for pickleball apparel made for women like her. With sewing skills she'd honed since childhood, she created the pieces she wanted to wear on the court.
What began as comfort became inspiration, and that inspiration became a brand.

The name Saltie Rose carries this story forward.
"Saltie" reflects Terrie's journey from tears of grief to beads of sweat. "Rose" honors her late husband and surname.
Saltie Rose represents strength, remembrance, and the joy that comes from showing up fully in life and in sport.
